- 1.00 cup Yam
- 0.25 cup Grated Coconut
- 2.00 nos Garlic
- 3.00 nos Red Chilly
- 3.00 nos Curry Leaves
- 0.25 tbsp Turmeric Powder
- 0.25 tbsp Salt
- 1.00 tbsp Sambar Powder
- 0.25 tbsp Coriander Leaves
- 0.25 tbsp Urad Dal
- 0.25 tbsp Mustard Seeds
- 1.00 tbsp Oil
Instructions
Yam Stir Fry
- Peel off the skin of yam and chop them as small cubes,wash them and boil it as open pan cook by adding enough water,turmeric powder and little salt.
- Heat a frying pan add little oil and splutters some cumin seeds,mustard seeds and half tbsp of urad dal.
- Add some crushed garlic and dried chilly and some curry leaves and a little pinch of hing.
- Then add those oiled and drained yam veggie into them and stir well till the water content gets dried.
- Then add one tbsp of sambar powder and salt with them and keep on stirring till it gets roasted.
- When the yam gets well roasted and add some grated coconut with them and mix for a while.
- Garnish and serve hot with tasty curd rice or with rasam rice or variety mixed rice.
