Ingredients of Yam gravy
STEP : 1
Scrap the skin of yam wash and slice it as small cubes,and also chop the 2 medium size onion into fine slices,chop the needed green chilies and coriander leaves.

in a pressure cooker add the chopped yam slices and washed green peas with them and by adding little salt and bring it to boil for one whistles.

At this mean while grind the coconut slices by adding some water to gets coconut milk,you can also add it by grated.

Heat a pan add needed oil with them,when it get hot now add 1/4 tbsp of Ajwain seeds(carom seeds),then add chopped onion slices,green chilies and some curry leaves.

It gets well fried add the pressure cook boiled mutter peas and yam cubes with them stir well for few seconds.

Then add some red chilly powder and needed salt for this dish,aware about already added salt for boiling the yam and mutter.

Give a gentle mix,then Add 1/2 a cup of curd,it gives sour taste for this dish,because we have not added any tomatoes in this recipe,Mix well for few seconds.

Then add the extracted coconut milk at this stage and mix well till it mixes together,at this stage there is a chance to splitter the curd so mix carefully.
STEP : 9
Keep boiling for two minutes in slow fire and garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with roti or with chapati or with paratha.
