STEP : 1
Take some yam and peel it off . also take some masala and turmeric powder .along with some tamarind pieces .

STEP : 2
Now cut yam into small square size pieces . take water in bowl and heat it .once water boiled add this yam pieces in it . and boil them

STEP : 3
Take tamarind pieces in small bowl and add some water in it .make a thick paste of it . now add boiled yam pieces in it and soak for 5 min .

STEP : 4
After well soaking of yam pieces add some masala , turmeric and salt as per your taste . mixed well so that masala and salt will spread on all pieces .

STEP : 5
Take oil in a pan and heat it till oil become hot . now give shallow fry to the yam pieces .

STEP : 6
Fry it till they become reddish in color .your squary tasty yam fry is ready to eat serve it hot with chutney .
