Wheat rava pongal

STEP : 1
Take the ingredients Broken Wheat,4-5 dried red chillies ,Moong Dal,black pepper,Cumin seeds for making Samba Godhumai Pongal.

STEP : 2
Now you need to Wash and soak moong dal for at least 5 min, set it aside.

STEP : 3
Heat oil in a cooker and than put 1 tsp of Ghee keep it in low flame.

STEP : 4
Now you need to add cumin seeds, whole black pepper in the cooker ,wait for 1 sec.

STEP : 5
Add the dried red chillies,Curry leaves in the cooker let it cook keep it in low flame.

STEP : 6
Now Add the washed moong dhal,Broken Wheat in the cooker keep it in low flame.

STEP : 7
Now mix moong dhal,Broken Wheat and add the Asafoetida power than mix it. keep it in high flame.

STEP : 8
Now add the 4 cups of water in the cooker.Than keep it in high flame.

STEP : 9
Now add the Salt to taste and than mix it, keep it in high flame.

STEP : 10
Now you need close the cooker for 10-15 mins than keep it in high flame.

Up to 3-4 whistle or until well cooked.than open the cooker mix it all for 1 sec .

STEP : 12
Now you can Serve the hot Samba Godhumai Pongal with chutney,pickle and yummy uluntha vadai.
