STEP : 1
first take the Ingredients small onion, Red Chillies, Urid Dal ,Tamarind, oil, curry leaves, Asafoetida.

Now you need to heat the pan and put oil keep it in a high flame.

Now you need to put Urad Dal and wait for 2 to 3 sec the colour will change.

Now you need to put Dry red chilies into the pan with for 1 sec.

Now you need to add the onion and mix it well.keep it in high flame.

Now you need to fry the small onions till it changes the colour like this.

Now you need to add the salt how much you want and than mix it well.

Now you need to add A pinch of Asafoetida powder and than mix it well.

Now you need to add Tamarind a small lemon size and than off the flame.

Now you need to transfer every thing into the plate and than allow this to cool.

Now you need to take the mixture grinder and put ever thing together into the mixture grinder.

Now you need to close the mixture grinder than grind it and than add some water.

Now you need to grain it nicely till the onion paste reaches a thokku consistency like this.

Now you need to heat the pan and than add the oil,Mustard Seeds wait for 1 sec.

Now you need to add the curry leaves few and than switch off the flame.

Now you need to add every thing into the Vengaya Thuvayal and than mix it well.

Now the Vengaya Thuvayal ready to Serve with rice, idli or dosa. enjoy the Vengaya Thuvayal.
