- 0.25 kg Ladies Finger
- 8.00 tbsp Shallots
- 0.25 tbsp Turmeric Powder
- 0.50 tbsp Chilly Powder
- 3.00 tbsp Mustard Seeds
- 3.00 tbsp Coconut Oil
- 6.00 nos Curry Leaves
- 1.00 tbsp Salt
Instructions
Vendakkai Poriyal
- Initially wash the ladies finger very neatly.Then cut into small pieces.You can cut the vegetables in round shape or lengthwise according to your interest.
- Next take green chilies and shallots and chopped very well.Then heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds into it.When the mustard seeds start spluttering add this chopped vegetables into it.
- When the color of the onion changes to brown then add the chopped ladies finger into it.Add green chilly also into the pan.
- Next add turmeric powder,chilly powder and salt into the above mixture.Saute the mixture well for sometime.Close the pan for 10 minutes for cooking the vegetables well.
- After 10 minutes open the lid of the pan and saute the mixture again.Now the delicious Vendakka Mezhukkupuratti is ready. You can serve it into a flat dish.
