STEP : 1
For preparing Cashew paste: Take quarter cup or required quantity of poppy seeds into a small bowl,

In that same bowl add quarter cup or required quantity of whole cashew nuts into them which is going to soak,

Then now add three tbsp of warm milk or hot water into them,and leave them for soak for fifteen minutes

After fifteen minutes,the whole cashews and poppy seeds or well soaked,then transfer them to mixer jar,

Blend them well by adding thise stock milk and grind them as smooth and thick paste and keep them aside,

For chopping : Take two medium sized Onion and fine chop them as well,and also slit some green chilies and fine chop some coriander leaves,

Then now Choo one carrot as small cubes and scrape and chop some potatoes and chop some beans and pick some green peas,

For making Vellai Kurma: Take a pressure cooker add two tbsp of oil and add some whole garam spices such as cloves,cinnamon,fennel seeds and a bay leaf,

Then now add those fine chopped onion slices into them and saute till the light pink color obtains,

Then add some slitted green chilies into them and stir for few seconds till the raw smells out,

Then now add two tbsp of ginger garlic paste into them and saute till the raw smells out,

Then now add those well cleaned and chopped beans and carrots into them and stir for few seconds,

Then now add some well chopped potatoes and well picked green peas into them and stir few seconds,

Stir well for few seconds and add enough salt for them which helps to retain the veggies color as it is,

Then now add some cashew nuts stock water and add some more water into them and stir well,

Then now close the lid of the pressure cooker and put whistles on it,and leave them for cook atleast two or three whistles,

When the pressure settles down then now open the lid and sure the added veggies comes to soft,

Then now add those frshky grounded cashew and poppy seeds paste into them and stir well for few seconds,

Brings them to boil for a single boil and then remove from flame,do not over boiling the kurna which causes a splitness,

Then now add fine chopped coriander leaves and now the time remove from flame ,

Transfer the prepared kaikari velai kurma to a serving bowl and serve hot with tasty roti or chapati recipes.
