STEP : 1
The key ingredients to prepare white kurma,we need shredded coconut,green peas,onions,potatoes,green chillies,ginger,fennel seeds, gasa gasa,curry leaves ,garam masala,coriander powder,cashew nuts,garlic cloves,bay leaf,green cardamom,cinamon stick,lavang ,oil and salt.

Initially wash the potatoes thoroughly ,peel the skin completely and cut it into small pieces .

Turn on the flame ,add a cup of soaked green peas, soak the green peas under 2 to 3 hours.

Add two cup of water in it,you can also discard it,you can add your like vegetables.

Add the small pieces of potatoes ,you can include carrots along with these for perfect combination.

Add half tablespoon of salt ,you can also add a pinch of turmeric powder in it.

To prepare ginger garlic paste,i added 8 to 10 garlic cloves ,blend always the ginger garlic paste seperately.

Add 5 to 6 small pieces of ginger in a blender jar and blend it for few seconds.

Keep the ginger garlic paste in a seperate bowl,blend them in a semi coarse paste .

Now let's prepare coconut puree ,add one and half cup of shredded coconut in a blender jar.

Add 8 to 10 cashewnuts,Make sure soak the cashewnuts under 5 to 10 minutes so that it blends thick paste.

Add two tablespoon of gasa gasa in it,you can also add a tablespoon of melon seeds.

Add 3 to 4 green cardamoms in a blender,you can also add grated mawa or khoya .

Add two pieces of cinnamon sticks and two pieces of lavang or cloves in a blender.

Add half tablespoon of fennel seeds in a blender jar ,you can also omit these.

Add 2 to 3 green chillies in a blender so that it gives a rich taste of masala.

Now blend all these ingredients for few minutes till it turns semi thick coarse paste .

After 2 whistles turn off the flame,when the pressure comes down completely slowly open the lid.

Turn on the flame,place a pan or vessel add 5 to 6 tablespoon of cooking oil.

Add half tablespoon of fennel seeds and let it splutter few seconds in low flame.

Add a small pieces of cinnamon sticks and two pieces of lavang or cloves in hot oil.

Add a single bay or briyani leaf in hot oil and let fry for few seconds.

Add a cup of thin sliced onions along with spices and saute it few seconds.

Add a tablespoon of ginger garlic paste and stir it well ,let the raw smell goes away.

Add 2 to 3 green chillies for good sour and saute it for few seconds.

Add three tablespoon of coriander powder and saute it with spoon completely add little bit water.

Add a tablespoon of garam masala for rich taste and saute it ,you can add white pepper powder if you prefer.

Add the blended mixture into the ingredients and mix it well ,let it cook for 10 to 15 minutes.

Now add the boiled green peas and mix it ,let them cook for 2 to 3 minutes.

Now add the blended coconut puree water instead of plain water for good taste and smell.

Add 5 to 6 curry leaves in to the boiling kurma and let it cook for few seconds.

Add a tablespoon of salt or as per your taste and mix it well thoroughly.

Finally when the kurma nicely boils,turn of the flame and let it cool for few minutes,our tasty white kurma is ready for chappathis and roties.
