Vegetable Cutlet – A Famous Crispy And Healthy Vegetable Cutlet
Vegetable cutlet is a delicacy and crispy recipe. It is one of the kids favourite dish. These can be made at few ingredients that can be easily available at home.
Ingredients
Vegetable Cutlet
- 1.00 cup Carrot
- 0.5 cup Green Peas
- 0.5 cup Beans
- 0.5 cup Onion
- 0.5 cup Oil
- 2.00 nos Potato
- 2.00 nos Egg
- 1.00 cup Breadcrumbs
- 1.00 tbsp Ginger
- 5.00 nos Green Chilly
- 0.5 tbsp Turmeric Powder
- 0.25 tbsp Salt
- 0.25 tbsp Red chilly powder
- 0.25 tbsp Coriander Powder
Instructions
Vegetable Cutlet
- At the first step take some green peas and pour this in a bowl along with water . Soak this overnight or for 6 hours.
- Then take the other main ingredients like vegetables we using and onion , peel off the skin and clean it well.
- Then cut the potato in to small pieces and put this in a pressure cooker along with the green peas and water.
- Then put some salt and turmeric powder to it . Then keep it on flame and close the pressure cooker let it cooked well.
- Wait for about three to four visils . Meanwhile we can chop the carrot, beans , onions , ginger and green chilly.
- When our potato and green peas is cooked off the flame and then drain off excess water and let it cool.
- Then heat a pan or kadai and put oil to it. When it is not put the chopped onion , ginger and green chilly to it.
- Saute it well until it becomes translucent then add the chopped beans , carrots to it and saute it well.
- Close the pan and keep in low flame. It will take five minutes to get cooked , stir it occasionally and when it is done.
- Then add the cooked potato and green peas too it , then add coriander powder and chili powder to it. Pour some salt if needed.
- Then mix everything well and off the flame. Keep it closed and let it become cool . Meanwhile take bread crumbs on a plate.
- Then take another bowl and put two eggs to it . Then beat it well using a spatula or a beater.
- Then take the vegetable mix which is cooked and with clean hands take small small portion from it and make a circle or oval shapes.
- Make all the vegetable mix in to shapes as you like and then dip each vegetable shapes to the beaten egg.
- Then take the plate which we kept bread crumbs . After dipping in egg put that to bread crumbs and spread it evenly. Do the same with all.
- Then take a pan or kadai and put oil to deep fry to it and keep it on flame . Let it hot . Then put the cutlets to it and fry it well.
