This is a combo dish which is a served with rice. The rice prepared is Italian herbed rice in butter and it is served with vegetable Au Gratin. This is a continental vegetable which is prepared using mushroom, cottage cheese, baby corn and fresh cream.
Vegetable Au Gratin – Fresh Creamy And Tasty Vegetable Au Gratin Recipe
Vegetable au gratin is very tasty and creamy dish. This is a combo dish which is a served with rice. It is used for lunch or dinner. It is easy to prepared at home.
Ingredients
For Rice Preparation
- 2.00 tbsp Butter
- 1.00 cup Gobindo Bhog Rice
- 0.50 tbsp Salt
For Vegetable Cream Preparation
- 1.00 tbsp Oil
- 1.00 nos Onion
- 0.50 nos Capsicum
- 5.00 nos Baby Corn
- 5.00 nos Baby Corn
- 0.50 tbsp Salt
- 1.00 cup Paneer cubes
- 0.25 tbsp Black Pepper Powder
- 5.00 nos Mushroom
- 2.00 tbsp Fresh Cream
Instructions
For Rice Preparation
- Make the rice in the usual process using the Gobindo Bhog Rice (Aroma Rice). Heat butter in a kadai and toss the rice. Add some salt and the Italian seasoning.
- Once the rice is cooked completely with the herbs pour it in a bowl so that it fits there and takes the circular shape of a bowl.
For Vegetable Cream Preparation
- Wash and clean the baby corn, button mushroom and cut the paneer into cubes as shown in the image so that the ingredients are ready to be cooked.
- Chop the mushroom into thin slices as shown in the picture and cut the baby corn too into small pieces.
- Heat water in a saucepan and add a pinch of salt and add the baby corn pieces so that they are boiled and become softened.
- Take the onion and peel and wash it, take the capsicum piece and chop them into long thin slices as shown in the picture.
- Heat oil in a kadai and add the onion and capsicum and fry them well till they soften and the onion turns brown in color.
- Add the boiled baby corn to the mixture and fry it with the onion and capsicum and add a pinch of salt.
- Add the paneer cubes to the mixture and fry them well and add some black pepper to the mixture and cook for a minute or two.
- Add the sliced mushroom to the oil and mix it well and cook it uniformly with the rest of the vegetables.
- Add the fresh cream (2 spoon) to the vegetables and mix them well with the vegetables so that a creamy gravy is formed. Take the vegetable in a bowl and serve it with the rice in a plate.
