The Vegetable and Dal Soup is very popular soup recipe among most of the people. This recipe is very healthy and has the most nutritional value. This soup recipe is most prefferable for child and old people. This recipe can be prepared by any one at home. This recipe is also available in some restaurants.

Ingredients of Vegetable and dal Soup

7.00 no Palak Leaves
1.00 no Cabbage
3.00 no Onion
2.00 no Tomato
1.00 cup Mung Dal
6.00 no Green Mirchi
1.00 no Lemon
1.00 cup Vegetable Oil
1.50 tbsp Salt
1.00 tbsp Black Pepper
4.00 cup Water

Vegetable and dal Soup

Firstly take 1 small Cabbage, 7 – 8 Palak Leaves, 2 – 3 Onion, 2 – 3 Red Tomato, 4 – 5 Green Mirchi, 1 big Cup of Mung Dal. Aggregate into a Plate.

STEP : 1

Wash all the vagetables properly with water for 2 – 3 times. Then cut down all the veggies into finely chopped size. Aggregate all veggies seperatly in plate as shown in Image 2.

Now take yellow Mung Dal and remove all debris from it. Wash it properly with clean water for 2 – 3 times. Soak Mung Dal in 2 cup light warm water 15 minutes.

Now take a Steel Container (or) steel Pan (or) cooking Pan and wash it properly with clean water and make it dry with cloth. Then put the container on the gas stove.

Now take 3 cup of water into a container or pan. Put on the gas stove at medium to high flame. Let it boil the water for 5 minutes.

Add finely chopped onion in to the container and let it boil for 2 – 3 minutes with occasional stirring with spoon.

Add finely chopped red ripe Tomato in to the container and let it boil for 2 – 3 minutes with occasional stirring.

Now close the steel container with steel lid and let boil the content for 5 minutes at low to medium flame.

Now make the flame high and let boil the content properly at medium to high flame up to rising water for 2 – 3 times. As the lid will move due to pressure put off the gas stove.

After moving of lid remove the lid and add œ cup of water in to container and let be cool the content for 5 – 6 minutes with occasional stirring

Now take Grinder and wash the blade portion of Grinder with clean water. Put the grinder into the content such as blade should be completely soaked into content.

Now switch on the grinder at low frequency and grind the content properly for 3 – 4 minutes with occasional intervals for 2 – 3 times. During grinding do not remove the grinder from content.

Now add finely roundly chopped green Mirchi in to the container. Here pieces of green mirchi should not be big.

Saute the finely chopped green mirchi at low flame for 40 – 45 minutes with constant stirring. Here it should not be burn out.

Now add finely chopped fresh Cabbage in to the container and add pinch of salt in to the container. Here Cabbage should not of big size.

Now The Veg and Dal Soup is ready to serve. Take serving bowl and wash it properly with water and make it dry by cloth. Serve the hot soup into serving bowl. For garnishing sprinkle the finely chopped Dhaniya or Green Onion or Green Garlic.
