Ingredients of Vazhakkai bajji

The first step is to peel the raw banana and cut into long strips and put them in water

Now take about one cup of gram flour and add about half tablespoon of salt and one fourth tablespoon of baking soda.

Also add one and half tablespoon of chilli sauce and mix it well. If needed add ajwain seeds

Now add about half cup of water and mix it well to form a thick batter like consistency.

Now take a deep bottomed pan and add about half litre of oil and allow it to heat.

Now dip the raw banana strips in the batter and drop it in oil and fry them.

Once they get golden brown colour take out from oil and add chopped onion on top and serve it hot.
