Ingredients of Vazhaipoo thuvaiyal
STEP : 1
Remove the purple outer covering. You will see the white part inside with little flowers. Pick out each flower.

Now you need to discard the center black stamen part from the flower. it should be like this.

Now you need to clean the flowers in water and than chop the flowers finely.

Now you need to take the Ingredients Banana flower;Channa da l;Urad dal ;Red chillies ;asafoetida powder.

Now you need to chop the flowers finely and dunk in sour buttermilk.wait for 5 mins.

Now you need to Heat the oil in a Kadai keep it in a low flame.

Now you need to add Red chillies and give a quick fry.than transfer to the plate salt.

Now you need to add Urad dal and Channa dal and fry till light brown.

Now you need to add the asafoetida powder and Tamarind .keep it in low flame.

Now you need to transfer every thing into the plate .Let them cool down for 1 mins.

Now in the same Kadai fry the chopped Banana flower till it gets cooked.wait for 2 to 3 mins.

Now you need to transfer them to a bowl and leave it to cool down.

Now you need to take the small mixture grinder and than put cooked banana blossom.

Now you need to take the fried Red chillies and add it into the small mixture grinder.

Now you need to take the fried dal and add it into the small mixture grinder.

Now you need to take the salt and than add it into the small mixture grinder.

Now you need to Grind it like a coarse paste than It should be like this.

Now the Vazhaipoo thogayal is ready . Serve with hot rice or dosa or idli .
