This is a dish made out of banana flowers. It needs very less ingredients. Only mustard and coconut paste and small shrimps. It is served best with hot rice. Before cooking the dish the banana flower has to be cleaned and cut very well to remove the stems and buds.

2.00 tbsp Mustard Paste
2.00 tbsp Coconut Paste
0.50 tbsp Salt
0.25 tbsp Sugar
0.25 tbsp Turmeric
0.25 tbsp Cumin Seeds
8.00 tbsp Oil
3.00 tbsp Coriander Leaves

Vazhaipoo curry

Cut the banana flowers into small pieces. Remove the buds and stem and clean it very well and make sure that the pieces are chopped in uniform size.
