  • 1.00 cup Onions
  • 3.00 tbsp Oil
  • 1.00 tbsp Green chillies
  • 1.00 tbsp Chopped carrot
  • 5.00 nos Corriander
  • 1.00 tbsp Gera

  • first of all take the bowl and add the one cup of the black gram and then add the water and soak for 3 hours

  • now take the dal and wash well and grind like a fine paste in the grinder by adding sufficient water ,

  • now take the another bowl and prepare the idly batter for the uthappam by soaking the idly ravva in the water

  • now take the water out side and filer all water from idly ravva with the hand and then add that in the prepared paste and mlix well

  • now prepare the idly batter with out any lumbs and keep that aside for 3 hours so that good texture will come

  • now take the pan and switch on the stove and preheat the pan and add the batter on the pan and prepare like a thick uthappam

  • now take the onions and cut them in to very small pieces and keep them aside as shown in the img.

  • now take the onions and add them over the uthappam and then add grren chillies and gera and add oil ,

  • now take the chopped carrot and spread over the uthappam and add one tbsp of oil over that .and fry well
