Ingredients of Thotakura
STEP : 1
All the ingredients are taken as per measurements. All the vegetables are diced to small. Oil required is more, as it is a deep fried snack.

Firstly, take an empty bowl and add all the ingredients except hing and sesame. Mix it thoroughly. Amount of water must match to a harder consistency.

Then make small balls out of the dough and transfer it to another bowl. It can be formed to any shape as per requirement.

Then take a pan, add oil and heat it. Add all the balls. Allow it to deep fry, till it turns to brown.

Now take another pan and add two spoons of oil and add sesame seeds, till it splutters. This adds good aroma to the snack.

Also add tomato juice by crushing the tomato and add it into the oil. This is used to fry the balls into the gravy of tomato.

Then add the fried balls of thotakoora into the pan as shown. These balls must be cooked in tomato juice, till it becomes soft.

Allow the fried balls to be cooked in the seasoning of oil and tomato, till it is well absorbed. Also salt can be added.

Now transfer the seasoned, yummy, hot balls into a serving plate, after it is properly cooled. This is ready to serve two persons.

This is ready for garnishing. Garnish it with coriander leaves. Arrange the fried balls as shown in serving plate. Coriander provides a good aroma.

Also a good tomato with alternate cuts of a flower is garnished here. Arrange it on either sides of the recipe.
