hi friends , Thinai is very good for our health.It is very easy to prepare and it is very simple.Every one need to have this Thinai Puttu. Using a simple ingredients we can prepare this Thinai Puttu and we can save the time.

Ingredients of Thinai puttu

1.25 cup Thinai
0.00 tbsp Cardamom powder
0.00 tbsp ghee
0.00 no coconut
0.00 no Cashews
0.00 no salt
0.25 cup Jaggery
0.00 no sukku powder

first you need to take the ingredients thinai , ghee , Cardamom powder , jaggery.

Now you need to Wash and Soak the thinai in water for an 1 to 2 hour.

Such a best and healthy breakfast in the morning. Every type of people can eat this. Childerens must try it at least 2 times in a week for breakfast. I tried this dish this morning and liked it very much. It also takes very less time to make the dish. My grandfather liked it very much too. The ingredients used will be available in every store I think because I got it easily. The dish is not as much as difficult to make also. So do try it guys. Healthy dishes like this must be tried as we going through a difficult pandemic situation:)

This is a steam cooked, snack. Since it is steamed it is healthy and trust me, has very less work too.  kangni / foxtail millet is considered an best millet, for making sweet dishes, since it has a  naturally sweet taste. The only additional task is to roast the millet and powder it, i hope you wont mind doing that extra step for the health quotient. Like any other steamed dish , kangni /foxtail millet dish, follows the same procedure of mixing it salt water and steaming , then adding the required flavors. Though the process looks like tough, it is very easy once you have the foxtail millet roasted and powdered ready in hand. So, i usually keep a small amount of flour ready, so it is easy to make this kangni / foxtail millet steamed sweet dish, whenever we feel like having a steaming hot snack, something away from the usual.  Kangni / foxtail millet is rich in dietary fibre, protein, healthy micros (vitamin and minerals) and low in fat. People who consume Kangni / foxtail millet in their diet have a lower probability of suffering from diabetes. It keep an control on diabetes .It has a low glycemic index and is an excellent substitute for rice or other grains that can increase blood sugar. As you can make this sweet with jaggery also, so it is a good sweet for diabetics to quench their sweets carbs. Kangni / foxtail millet Is Heart-healthy . It helps to regulate blood pressure, thus reducing the chances of blockage in heart that results in cardiac arrest or stroke. It also helps in reduction of LDL levels in the body. Kangni / foxtail millet is gluten-free. Therefore, it helps in improving digestion, increases energy level and helps in maintaining cholesterol levels. It also help in eliminating viruses and germs in body. The abundance of antioxidants, mainly (Tryptophan and amino acids) in kangni, helps in fighting diseases and building immunity. By including it in our diet, one can have a youthful-looking skin because the amino acids found in it help in the formation of collagen, which helps in slowing appearance of wrinkles. It has a nice anti-aging quality. It supplies adequate amount of iron which is essential for the brain oxygenation and prevents Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. It helps in brain development.
