Ingredients of Tharavu Curry
STEP : 1
At the first step clean the duck and cut it to pieces and then keep it aside ,no need to remove the skin .

Make some coconut milk and Then cook the duck in little coconut milk for about fifteen minutes in a bowl or pressure cooker .

When it is almost cooked off the flame and keep it aside , we not yet put salt in it ,

If we add salt at first place with duck ,then it will take more time to get cooked . Heat a pan or kadai and put oil to it when it is hot add pepper and cardamom .

Saute it for two minutes and then add ginger and garlic chopped to it saute it ,then add sliced onion and curry leaves .

Then close the kadai for some time in low flame so that all the water comes out from the onion . Then add the duck along with water to it .

Mean while take a blender and make a paste of pepper and green chillies and pour this to the duck mix .

This is the major ingredient in it , then mix it well.and add some coriander powder and salt to it and stir well .

Then close the kadai or pressure cooker untill it gets cooked well. When we see the separated layer of oil we can off the flame .

We can add some thick coconut milk at last after offing flame , our dish is ready to serve . Add some coriander leaves and serve .
