This is a five star dish using duck , this one I seen from a show and it is a very famous and tasty dish in a five star hotel. We can make this easily at home ,and can serve to guests also .

Ingredients of Tharavu Curry

1.00 kg duck
0.50 no coconut
8.00 no green chillies
2.00 tbsp pepper
4.00 no cardamom
2.00 tbsp coconut oil
1.00 tbsp ginger
1.00 tbsp garlic
1.00 cup onion
0.25 tbsp salt
0.50 tbsp Coriander powder

Tharavu Curry

At the first step clean the duck and cut it to pieces and then keep it aside ,no need to remove the skin .

Make some coconut milk and Then cook the duck in little coconut milk for about fifteen minutes in a bowl or pressure cooker .

When it is almost cooked off the flame and keep it aside , we not yet put salt in it ,

If we add salt at first place with duck ,then it will take more time to get cooked . Heat a pan or kadai and put oil to it when it is hot add pepper and cardamom .

Saute it for two minutes and then add ginger and garlic chopped to it saute it ,then add sliced onion and curry leaves .

this is a duck curry made quiet differently . it did taste nice actually . but make sure you cook the duck properly and the quantity of duck to be used is totally up to you, they have given 1 kg here for their quantity base. it is a really nice dish overall and a very simple yet unique one. and also it does not take much time also to make this curry.
