Tandoori chicken with rice
STEP : 1
At the first step clean the chicken and cut it to two equal halves ,no need to remove the skin.

then clean the rice and keep it aside , then heat a pan or kadai that have space to cook rice and chicken . pour some oil to it and then put the ground spices to it.

Saute it well and then add the sliced onion to it stir well and let it brawn, mean while grind two tomatoes using a mixer.

then pour this tomato mix to pan, and add ginger garlic paste , sliced tomato and one tablespoon of garam masala to it , mix it well.

saute it well and then let it cook for two to three minutes ,then add the cleaned chicken to it.

mix it well and add three cup of water to it and add green chilly and chicken stalk cubes crushed to it.

close the pan for five minutes and when its done take out the chicken pieces and pour the washed rice and remaining water to it.

add salt to the rice, then close the pan for the rice to get cooked, mean while take butter in a bowl and melt it then add remaining garam masala to it and mix.

then spread these butter and garam masala mix to the chicken pieces and keep this to grill for ten minutes, if you don't have grill ,fry it using little oil.

When the chicken pieces are grilled or fried well take it out and keep it aside, mean while check the rice.

When the rice is almost cooked add the sliced carrot to it and mix it well. add salt if needed.

Then again close the kadai ,when the rice is cooked well, sprinkle some lemon juice to it and mix it well.

Then put the chicken pieces on the cooked rice and then take a small bowl and pour some olive oil to it.

then heat one or two charcoal pieces and when the flame comes ,put these to the bowl with olive oil and close it.

keep the flame low and wait for five to ten minutes, it is just to get the smoke smell and taste for our rice, then remove the bowl.

Our chicken mandhi is ready to serve , serve hot along with pickle or salad, transfer to the serving plate.
