Ingredients of Sweet Potato Chutney

STEP : 1
Turn on the flame,place a pressure cooker then add the sweet potato pieces in it.
STEP : 2
Add two cups of water in it and leave it to boil for few seconds.
STEP : 3
Add a tablespoon of salt or crystal salt for blended taste along with the sweet potatoes .
STEP : 4
Close the pressure cooker lid and leave it for 2 to 3 whistles on high flame.
STEP : 5
After 2 to 3 whistles ,when the pressure calms down ,open the cooker lid slowly.

After peeling the sweet potato skin completely then add potatoes in a blender or mixie jar.

To prepare tamarind pulp or concentrate take a small lemon size tamarind in a bowl.

To prepare pulp ,add hot water along with the tamarind and soak it for few minutes.

By mashing it lightly using hands add the squeezed juice along with boiled potatoes.

Add a pinch of coriander leaves or cilantro along with the peeled and boiled potatoes.

Add four nos of green chillies or add according your spice along with the potatoes.

Add half a tablespoon of cumin seeds or shahjeera along with the potatoes in a blender.
STEP : 13
Add half inch size of ginger and a pinch of salt as per your taste and blend it.

Now blend all those ingredients finely nice texture and transfer it in a bowl.Our sweet potato chutney is prepared.
