Ingredients of Sukhiyan recipe
STEP : 1
Now take a blending jar lets add the cooked channa dal,make sure while cooking channa dal add a pinch of salt for easy boil and add around two cups of water.

Now grind a channa dal into a nice consistency don't add a water into this and also while pressure cooking the channa dal don't add too much of water,because it will difficult to mold the balls.

To this grinded channa dal,now lets add jaggery into it 3/4 cup of jaggery is enough for one cup of channa dal,instead of jaggery you can also add brown sugar.

Now add a pinch of cardamom powder into a channa dal and jaggery mixture,finally give it a blend of all this ingredients and make a thick powder consistency .

Now a sweet sukhiyan recipe with channa dal,jaggery with a pinch of cardamom powder is ready,now all this three ingredients made as a fine thick powder consistency.

Now turn on the flame,put a non stick kadai on low flame add three tablespoon of ghee and let it melts in low flame.

After ghee melts add the sweet mixture into ghee saute it very well till the raw smell goes out,don't add any water into it.

After sauting the mixture very well now add a one cup of grated coconut into the mixture,now again saute it well.

In a sweet mixture no need to add water because jaggery tends to oozes a water in jaggery when heating,now make a fine mixture while doing this recipe keep it in low flame so that it don't stick to the kadai itself and becomes sticky.

Now the mixture is completely ready,keep aside let it cool and take a separate plate make a sweet mixture into small lemon sized balls.

Now mix it well without any formation of lumps,now i have mix this batter very well,the batter should be neither thick nor thin.

Now take the sweet sukhiyan balls and dip the ball into the batter,take the excess and put into oil slowly when oil heats.

Dip the sweet mixture balls into the batter make sure the batter should be nice consistency,if it is too thin then add flour,if it is too thick add water.
