Besan Preparation

STEP : 1
All the ingredients are taken as per measurements, as mentioned in the list. Besan is the main ingredient and carrot acts as the stuffing.

STEP : 2
The figure below depicts the ingredients needed for stuffing. Onions and carrots are grated before use. The more thinner makes the dish more tastier.

Firstly add Garam masala into the dish with grated carrot. Grated carrot must be well squeezed by hand to remove excess water.

Then add the taste making salt( 1/4 spoon), as per requirement. It requires less salt, as Besan( main ingredient) absorbs salt easily.

Also add grated onion into the stuffed mixture. Grate onions thin, so that the stuff is more enjoyable. Use oil if required.

Mix well all the ingredients using a dry spoon. The stuffing plays an important role. Crrots provide with neccessary vitamins( vitamin A)

Now its time to make the base dough for the bread rings. Add salt required into the bowl of besan. Also cooking soda may be added.

Also the favourable amalgum, vaamu is added to the mixture. Also jeera powder can be added in place of vaamu. This acts as a good digesting agent.

Mix the dough, as shown in the figure below. The consistency can be adjusted as per water requirement. Thin dough makes the dish more relishable.
Bread Preparation

STEP : 1
Now spread the slices of bread on a tray. Before use, kindly wet the bread. The slices must also be trimmed on all sides.

STEP : 2
After the hard part of bread is removed, spread the carrot stuff on the bread, as shown in the figure, by a spoon.

STEP : 3
Now roll the stuffed breads to cylinder, as shown in the figure. Keep it aside, till the slices dries up well.

STEP : 4
Its time to shape into stuffed rings. Cut the rolls of bread into small and thin rings, as shown in the figure.

STEP : 5
No dip the stuffed rings in the smooth dough of besan. Place it inside the idlymaker. Steam the rings, till well cooked.

STEP : 6
Now take a pan. Add oil into it, for sauting of the dish. Allow the pan to heat to medium. Don't use more oil.

STEP : 7
Now add sauting ingredients to the pan. Also add the steamed stuffed rings into the pan and allow it to cook, till sauted perfectly.

STEP : 8
Finally the hot, yummy dish is ready for garnishing. Use the fried hard core of bread. It can be fried with ghee too.
