Hilsa is one of the most tasty fish and the best quality is available during the monsoon. This is a light gravy prapared from this fish using very little mustard paste.It can be served best with rice. This gravy is very easy to cook and very tasty and the low spice actually preserves the inherent smell of Hilsa fish.

Ingredients of Steamed hilsa fish

1.00 kg Hilsa Fish
1.00 tbsp Mustard Paste
0.50 tbsp Salt
0.25 tbsp Turmeric
0.25 tbsp Kalonjee
8.00 tbsp Oil
4.00 no Chili
