STEP : 1
At the first step clean the fish and cut it to pieces and then keep it aside . We need fish with good flesh .

Then pour some pepper powder ,salt and one lemon juice to it ,mix it well and keep it for for marination for about half an hour.

Then take a mixer or blender and put ginger ,garlic , green chilies, tamarind , coconut and all the powders to it .

Pour salt also if needed then grind it well add the remaining lemon juice to it .We need a smooth paste, then put coriander leaves

Also to it and grind it again , when it is done keep the grinded mix aside . We can add little water for grinding if needed .

Take the banana leaves and put this on low flame and make the flame teach every side of leaf and when it changes colour off the flame .

Then cut a small piece from the leaf , it should have space to cover a fish piece fully . Pour some grinded mix to it .

Then place one piece of fish on the grinded mix and then cover the fish piece fully with the grinded mixture .

Then cover it fully with the banana leaf like gift wrapping , the fish should not be seen outside ,we can use tooth pick to lock the leaf . Do same with the remaining .

Then put all these covered fish pieces on a steamer and let it cook for about ten to fifteen minutes .

When it is done off the steamer and heat a pan and pour oil to it ,when it is hot put the fish along with leaf to it .

Close the kadai and let the fish gets nicely cooked , when we see the leaf is nicely brawn turn it's side and when both side looks fried off the flame .

Our dish is ready to serve , serve hot along with white rice , you can see a nicely cooked fish with a new taste and flavours.
