Sprouts salads are very good for health as they are packed with many nutrients. You can serve with during any time of the meal.
It makes you feel fuller for a long time. Many people who are diet conscious are not aware of making their own sprouts salad at home.
Instead they order it from restaurants or they buy sprouts from supermarkets to make the salad. But it is very easy to make your own sprouts at home and trust me it won’t take any of your energy in the kitchen as like any other meal.
Salads are a part of my meal and I often make vegetable salad, chicken salad, egg salad and broccoli salad recipes at home.
One time you try this recipe, you will then make it on a daily basis, as many of you prefer sprouts salad for weight loss, sprout salad diet and yes many people have the habit of eating sprouts salad for dinner.
I sometimes prefer eating sprouts salad and any fruit juice for breakfast as it is super filling. Sprouts salad calories are low and yes without any doubt, you can consume it on a daily basis.
How to make sprouts at home?
You can make sprouts from moong dal, black chickpeas, green peas, or from any dal or millet variety.
Today I am making pearl millet or kambu sprouts salad. So how to prepare pearl millet sprouts? It’s so simple, the very first thing you have to do is cleaning the pearl millet by rinsing it under water.
You have to repeat the same process many times until all the dust particles are neatly removed.
After washing, soak the pearl millet for 8 to 10 hours in enough water. Then drain all the water thoroughly, place the pearl millet in an airtight container or you can even use a neat cloth to tie the pearl millet inside it.
Leave it for 1 or 2 days. Then you will find small tails in your millet. Oh yes! Success, you did it.
How to make sprouts salad at home?
Sprouts salad benefits us a lot in providing lots of protein. Sprouts salad Indian version is my most favourite as it contains all our flavours and makes me feel less cravings towards any other food recipes.
For making salad it is completely your choice, you can use any veggies of your choice. Today I am using some grated carrots, onion and green chilli.
To enrich the taste I am adding some sugar and salt. You can even tomato, lime juice, grated beetroot or anything.
Serving and storing the sprouts salad:
You can make sprouts in large quantities and store it in airtight containers or zip lock bags for more than a week. So you can make the sprouts salad freshly whenever you crave for it.
Serve it along with some juice, coffee or any beverage of your choice. You can serve this salad as an evening snack for your kids.
They will definitely enjoy eating this. You can also try chickpea salad, corn salad and beetroot salad recipes, indeed they taste equally good and they are very healthy too.

STEP : 1
Take all the ingredients in a plate and keep it ready cut the onion into fine pieces and also cut the green chilies into fine pieces and greet the carrot

STEP : 2
This is the millet called kambu if you see the minute you can see the hair like in that millet that is the sprout which is very rich protein

STEP : 3
In a wide plate or bowl add the sprouted millet kambu and then add the scrambled carrot to the millet and mix them

STEP : 4
Then add the finely chopped onion to the bowl the onion can be added according to your wish because many kids don't like onion

STEP : 5
Now add the finely chopped green chilies and coriander to it and add a pinch of salt to it if you don't wanna the spice you can also add sugar

STEP : 6
Now mix all the ingredients nicely and squeeze half lemon to it it is optional and mix it thoroughly and serve it this is a good snack for this summer it keeps our body cool .
