Moong sprout salad is a protein packed salad recipe,and easy to make where the sprouts arre available at home,here I have posted the steps involved in making the sprouts at home,and we can eat healthy and tasty salad recipe whenever we need at home.thus the whole gram pulses are very healthy while taking it as sprouts.

- 1.00 Cup Moong Sprouts
- 1.00 No Boiled Potato
- 1.00 No Onion
- 1.00 No Tomato
- 1.00 No Green Chilly
- 0.5 Tbsp Red Chilly Powder
- 0.25 Tbsp Garam Masala Powder
- 0.25 Tbsp Salt
- 0.25 Tbsp Coriander Leaves
- 0.5 No Lemon
Sprouted Moong Salad
- Rinse and soak one cup of good quality whole green gram which is nothing but moong pulses for six hours or overnight.
- Then drain the water completely and place over a cotton cloth or muslin cloth and tie them as a knot and hang somewhere,after one or two days the whole green gram starts to grow their aprouts,which I have shown in the picture.
- Now rinse well those prepared moong sprouts,and add it to a steamer pot or idly cooker plate for steam cooking.
- In that idly vessel or steamer fill water to boil them and place then Cover with lid and brings them to boil for a few minutes in medium flame.
- When the added moong sprouts are well boiled remove from fire and brings them to cook.
- Take one medium sized onion and fine slice them,and fine slice one boiled potato and one tomato and also fine chop coriander leaves too.
- Take a large mixing bowl,add those well prepared and steam cooked moong sprouts which comes to room temperature.
- Now add those fine sliced onion and fine sliced tomatoes into them where the tomato should be deseeded while fine slice.
- Now add boiled,peeled and sliced ptato cubes into them and mix well gently.
- Then add this spice ingredients such as red chilly powder abd required amount of chaat masala with them and make them stir.
- Now add required quantity of salt into them,make sure that we have not added any salt while stem cook the moong sprouts hence you can adjust salt at this stage.
- Then sprinkle some freshly squeezed line juice over them and stir well together to spread the soury taste throughout the moong sprouts.
- Now add some fine chopped coriander leaves over them,and transfer to a serving plate garnish well and serve.
