Ingredients of Sponge cake
STEP : 1
The key ingredients to prepare a basic sponge cake are,we need the following ingredients are,all purpose flour,eggs,baking soda,baking powder,warm milk,powdered sugar,cooking oil as you preferred,salt a pinch.

Take a large vessel add two large eggs,if you don't like you can left over the egg yolks from the egg white, finely beat the eggs using fork spoon or electric mixer,adding egg yolks are good for health,it contains a higher nutritional power house.

Now take a one and half tablespoon of baking powder before adding the baking powder sieve the baking powder into a bowl .

Add a tablespoon of baking soda ,add a pinch of salt for a taste(NOTE:Before mixing don't forget to sieve the flour to avoid the impurities.

Now take a powdered sugar as per your taste (add half cup of sugar if you would like it less sweet,one cup if more sweet.

Add all purpose flour alternatively you can also use white whole wheat flour or regular whole wheat flour or sift flour into a bowl before using filter the flour .

Add a two tablespoon of cooking oil adding extra virgin olive oil or vegetable oil is highly beneficial neutral flavor mix it well.

Now mix it well with warm milk little by little without any formation of lumps,now the batter should be neither thick nor thin.

Now mix the batter very well by adding little warmed milk into the batter ,you can also add non diary milk like almond milk,coconut milk if possible.

Now the cake batter is ready make sure the batter should not become watery according to that add a milk till the batter turns to creamy texture.

Most rice cookers have a non-stick coating but if yours not like that then apply a cooking oil or ghee or butter into a cooking vessel that i shown in below image.

Now pour the cream batter into a cooking vessel and dump it on all sides to set down clearly,add nuts ,pecans ,walnuts into the batter if you prefer.

Now place the vessel into a electric cooker,if your rice cooker does not have a cake function press 'cook'.After 10-13 mins,when the cooker changes into 'warm' press 'cook' again repeat the steps 1-2 times.

Now leave it for 35-40 minutes,when the mode changes to warm slightly open the lid and check the cake is baked totally by using knife ,the cake is looking a golden brown color on top and our cake is ready now.
