Ingredients of Soya keema

All the ingredients are taken as per measurement. Vegetables are diced priory. Soya and moong dal( gravy ingredient)is washed and soaked.

Firstly take a pan and pour oil into it. Allow it to heat and put seasoning ingredients to crackle and season.

After it is done, add chilly and ginger. Also red chilly may be used. Fry it till the oil becomes flavoured.

Now transfer diced vegetables into the pan and allow it to cook in medium flame of heat, till it looses its rawness.

Put haldi or Indian turmeric, an antibiotic into the pan and stir it well. It gives good texture to the gravy.

Fry the pieces, till it becomes tender, soft and well cooked. Add water after sometime. Close the lid and allow the vegetable to cook.

Also add the soaked soya, after the vegetables are cooked. Stir it well. Soya milk may be used to improve the texture of the recipe.

Add soaked moong dal. This ingredient may be optional. Mix it well and cover the pan with lid and allow it to cook.

Add salt and chilly powder which makes the taste. It may be adjusted as per taste.

Finally add tomatoes. Allow it to cook till soft, else it tastes bad.Tomato sauce may be used.

Cook the recipe, till it gets concentrated or dry. Yummy, hot soya curry is ready to be served. Garnish it with curry leaves and lemon.

Transfer this into another dish and this is ready to be served. It serves 4.
