Ingredients of Sooji uttapam
STEP : 1
Put chopped capsicum, grated orange carrot, chopped onion, chopped tomato, chopped green chili, curd, and semolina (rava) and rice flour in separate bowls.

For Uttapam batter, mix rava (semolina), rice flour, curd, salt as required, œ teaspoon baking soda and water to make a smooth batter for uttapam
STEP : 3
Here I have used non stick pan for uttapam, you can use non-stick tawa in place of that. Now heat 1 tablespoon of oil in non-stick pan, reduce flame to low and pour a ladle full batter to make a round shape of uttapam, spread onion and tomato from the top.

Gently press the onions-tomatoes with flat spoon, after that add chopped capsicum, also spread little masalas as red chilli powder and chat masala. Again press the capsicum with the help of flat spoon.

Now I will add orange carrot which will give the rava uttapam a sweet texture. Add grated carrot to make your uttapam more beautiful. Finally press all veggies with the flat spoon, so that they stick to the batter.

Apply oil from the side of uttapam, when the base of uttapam get completely cooked, flip gently. Add more oil to make it crispy
STEP : 7
After flipping the uttapam, cook it for two minutes on low flame or cook it till the veggies are light golden. Flip it. Carrot rava uttapam is ready

Similarly make another carrot rawa uttapam. Place both uttapam and garnish with roasted masalas to enhance the taste.Enjoy hot and crispy rava uttapam
