STEP : 1
Scrape out the skin for yam and slice as rectangular cubes which is shown as in picture and wash it with plain water
STEP : 2
Heat a pan add some water and then add the sliced yam cubes and add pinch of salt and pinch of turmeric powder,and bring it for boil for half cook till the water gets boiled.

When yam gets half cooked then add three tbsp of besan flour and 1/4 tbsp of red chilly powder and needed salt
STEP : 4
Mix well all the ingredients and Keep the yam and besan flour mixture under soak process as marinate for ten minutes.

Heat a dosa or roti tawa add some oil,when oil gets hot add some crushed garlic pods and crushed curry leaves with them,
STEP : 6
when the garlic fried well the good aroma comes out and now this is the time to place the yam slices over them which gives good flavor for this recipe.

Then bring it for stir fry in slow fire when the color changes into light golden brown and turn it on both sides,and now the yam tawa stir fry is ready to serve hot with lunch time meals.
