Yam is a vegetable which have rich carbohydrate and is a good source of energy,it is not good to in taken as raw vegetable,so we need to cook it properly to get all nutritional facts,in that i used to make a different type of yam stir fry using tawa by low oil and tasty side dish for all types of main dishes.

Ingredients of Senai kilangu fry

2.00 cup Yam Slices
3.00 tbsp Besan Flour
1.00 tbsp Red Chilly Powder
0.25 tbsp Turmeric powder
5.00 no garlic pods
4.00 no Curry Leaves
0.50 tbsp Salt
4.00 tbsp Oil

Senai kilangu fry

Scrape out the skin for yam and slice as rectangular cubes which is shown as in picture and wash it with plain water

Heat a pan add some water and then add the sliced yam cubes and add pinch of salt and pinch of turmeric powder,and bring it for boil for half cook till the water gets boiled.

Mix well all the ingredients and Keep the yam and besan flour mixture under soak process as marinate for ten minutes.

Heat a dosa or roti tawa add some oil,when oil gets hot add some crushed garlic pods and crushed curry leaves with them,

when the garlic fried well the good aroma comes out and now this is the time to place the yam slices over them which gives good flavor for this recipe.
