Schezwan Chilli Potato – An Awesome Taste For Schezwan Chilli Potato
Schezwan chilli potato is very delicious and spicy dish. This recipe is loved by all age people including kids also. This is prepared by south indian style and easily make at home.

Fried Potato Ingredients
- 3.00 nos Potato
- 2.00 tbsp Corn Flour Starch
- 1.50 tbsp Black Pepper
- 4.00 tbsp Oil
Sauce Gravy Ingredients
- 1.00 nos Onion
- 3.00 nos Green Chilly
- 0.5 tbsp Ginger
- 4.00 nos Garlic Pods
- 0.25 cup Spring Onion Greens
- 0.5 tbsp Coriander Leaves
- 2.00 tbsp Red Chilly Or Schezwan Sauce
- 1.00 tbsp Tomato Sauce
- 0.25 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 0.5 tbsp Salt
- 2.00 tbsp Oil
Instructions
Fried Potato Preparation
- Take three medium sized potatoes scrape out the skin and chop them and soak in cold water for thirty minutes
- Then drained out the water and transfer it to a mixing bowl and then add two tbsp of corn starch flour.
- Now add some freshly ground black pepper powder and add enough salt for them.
- Then mix them well to well mixed itself together and leave them to soak for ten minutes.
- Heat a pan add two tbsp of oil and place those marinated potatoes over them.
- When the potatoes are fried in one side and flip it to other side for shallow frying.
- When the potatoes gets well roasted in both sides them remove from that oil.
- Then transfer the shallow fried potatoes to a filter paper for few minutes remove excess oil.
Sauce Gravy Preparation
- Take one medium sized onion and fine slice them and and also fine chop some garlic and fine slice some ginger and spring onions and coriander leaves,j rep aside.
- Heat a pan add two tbsp of oil add fine chopped garlic and ginger into them.
- Then add some fine chopped onion slices and some slitted green chilies into them and saute for few seconds.
- When onion becomes translucent tgen add some schezwan pepper or black pepper powder into them.
- Then add sauces such as schezwan red chilly sauce,tomato sauce and little soy sauce into them.
- Stir well together for few minutes till the raw smells goes completely out,keep the flame slow to prevent bottom browning.
- Then now add thin corn starch water into them,and stir continuously in low fire to prevent from lump formation.
- Bring it to boil for a few minutes by adding a little water into it then add fine chopped coriander leaves into them.
- Now add those shallow friedor deep fried potatoes to that prepared sauce and mix well.
- After added it to that prepared sauce mixture brings it to cook for few seconds to thickening the added sauce.
- Then finally seasoning with salt and sprinkle some spring onion greens over them and serve hot and spicy schezwan chilli potatoes by garnish and serve hot.
