- 0.50 cup Raisin
- 2.00 tbsp Tamarind pulp
- 0.50 cup Jaggery
- 0.50 tbsp Chilly powder
- 0.50 tbsp Fennel
- 0.50 tbsp Cumin
- 0.50 tbsp Pepper
- 0.50 tbsp Salt
- 1.00 tbsp Oil
- Take all your ingredients at hand so that your preparation does not consume your time and you may not have any confusions.
- chop the raisins into small bits (smaller the better). since its very sticky and difficult to cut, take a sharp knife.
- pulp the tamarind and keep aside. grate the jaggery and set aside. dry roast and powder your spices and keep aside.
- Take pan, heat oil, add raisins, tamarind, jaggery, powdered spices and salt as per taste. heat till the jaggery melts. let it cool and your chutney is ready to favor.
