Tried your recipe, for the very first time, I added a pinch of edible camphor . I also added clove powder  I have powdered one clove and added it. It came out really well. Highly recommend it. Everyone loved it.. thanks Your receipes are always easy and . So simple to cook. Superb It's a different recipe for us. Sweet Pongal is also known as sakkarai pongal and chakkara pongal in South Indian languages . I have had these recipes as prashad (naivdeyam) in many South Indian temples and loved their taste.
