Healthy And Spicy Dinner Recipe For Sabudana Khichdi
- 1.00 cup Sabudana
- 1.00 no Medium Sized Potato
- 2.00 tbsp Green Chillies
- 2.00 tbsp oil
- 1.00 tbsp salt
- 1.00 tbsp Lemon juice
- 0.50 gram peanuts
- 1.00 tbsp Sugar
- 1.00 tbsp cumin seeds
- 5.00 nos coriander leaves
- first you need to take the ingredients Sabudana , salt , Potato, Peanuts ,Green Chillies ,Cumin Seeds.
- In a big wide bowl soak sabudana by adding just enough water to cover them . Just 1/4 inch more than sabudana level.soak 5-6 hours
- Sabudana will fluff up after soaking and drain off excess water if any before cooking.
- Now you need to boil the potato in a blow for 10 to 12 mins.
- Now you need to add little bit salt and mix it well.keep the flame as medium.
- Now you need to take out of the peel from the potato keep it aside.
- Now you need to heat the pan and than 2 tablespoon oil wait for 1 mins.
- Now you need to add Cumin Seeds or Jeera to the pan.wait for 1 mins.
- Now you need to add the chopped green Chillies into the pan.wait for 1 mins
- Now you need to add the boiled potato into the pan and keep the flame low.
- Now cook till the potatoes turn soft on medium to low flame. Once the potato is soft enough, add soaked sabudana.
- Now you need to add salt how much you want and keep the flame low.
- Now you need to add sugar how much you want and you should not put more sugar.
- Now you need to keep the flame as low and You should not keep flame high.
- Now you need to take the Roasted peanuts remove the peel from the peanuts like this.
- Now you need to take the mixture grinder and than add peanuts into the mixture grinder.
- Now you need to mix it well for 1 to 2 mins.It should be like this.
- Now you need to add the chopped coriander leaves into the pan.keep the flame low.
- Now you need to add this peanuts mixture into the pan and than mix it well.
- Now you need to mix it well every thing for 1 mins.keep the flame low.
- Cover the pan with a lid and let the sabudana khichdi cook for 3-5 minutes. The sabudana will start to become translucent as they cook.
- Now you need to take it off the heat, add the lemon juice and mix well.
- Now the Sabudana Khichdi is ready.You need to have immediately otherwise the taste will change.
