Ingredients of Rice payasam
STEP : 1
First take œ cup of rice any one rice clean it well if any dust or stones and for this recipe this is main part.

First take œ cup grated coconut dont take too much of coconut so it will leads taste different , take only œ cup and keep it separate.
STEP : 3
Take one big size of jaggery especially square shape one is good for this recipe usually take that one only and break it like small pieces.

Take small amount of dry fruits (Raisins) and keep it separated before start cooking and dont add too much of dry fruits so it will give more sweet taste.

Now soak the rice in small amount of water in small bowl and wash it twise before soak and soak it 30 min before cooking.

Add grated coconut and soaked rice in to the mixer jar and grind it well and add only some amount of water, dont grind like very soft.

Now take on one pan add some amount (1/2 glass) of water and add jaggery in to the pan and keep it in low flame

Check while boiling of jaggery and keep it in low flame only because jaggery should melt slowly other wise it smell badly and recipe will be spoil.

Once jaggery I melted and it will turns in to semi liquid state add smashed 2 no o f elakki in the jaggery liquid.

stir it well and add the grinded liquid in to the pan slowly and stir it well and add one glass of water in to Jar and shake it and dump the water in to the pan.and keep it in low flame

Once all mixture and jaggery liquid mixed well and boiling add 1 spoon of ghee in to the pan and Ghee will give more taste in akki payasa.

In middle stir it well because the the mixture and all liquid should be boil in one point and it should be boil slowly not in high flame

Once it comes in to the thick liquid so then add dry fruits(Raisins) in to the pan only less qty not too much.

after adding the dry fruits stir it well all dry fruits should be boil with the semi solid stated payasa so then the taste is good.after boil it some time with low flame so akki payasa is ready
