Ingredients of Ribbon pakoda
STEP : 1
The key ingredients to prepare ribbon pakoda ,we need rice flour,gram flour, Roasted gram ,sesame seeds, sabudhana ,asafoetida,oil, turmeric powder,red chilly powder and salt to taste.

Initially Take a blended add half cup of roasted gram to make a nice powder.
STEP : 3
Add half cup of Sabudhana along with the roasted gram to make a nice powder.

Blend these both ingredients for few seconds till it turns nice powder consistency and keep aside.

Take two cups of sifted or sieved rice flour in a seperate bowl to prepare dough.

Add a cup of besan flour or chick pea flour along with the rice flour.

Add the blended roasted gram and sabudhana flour along with the ingredients in a bowl.

Add few white sesame seeds along with the ingredients,you can add black sesame seeds too.

Add a tablespoon of red chilli powder along with the combined flour for more spices.

Add a pinch of turmeric powder along with the combined flour for the blended taste.

Add a pinch of cumin seeds along with the combined flour for the blended taste.

Add a pinch of asafoetida or hing powder along with the combined flour,it is optional.

Add little bit of salt or as per taste along with the mixture and mix it.

Add half cup of hot oil along with the combined flour and mix it using hands.

Gradually add little by little of water and knead a smooth dough by using hands

When dough is prepared roughly,add a tablespoon of cooking oil on top of the dough.

Turn on the flame,place a pan or tawa ,add the required amount of oil ,let it heat.

Take a mould ,grease a tablespoon of oil or butter on all sides inside the moulder and add the little amount mixture.

Press the dough in hot oil, moving the hand in a circular pattern and fry it.

When it turns golden ,Take out and drain the excess oil completely.Our tasty tea time snack ribbon pakoda is ready.
