This is a famous dish of Kerala which we have along with rice . This is very yummy vegetable which my whole family love to have with Matta rice . This is very easy to make if we using pressure cooker .

Ingredients of Red beans and pumpkin curry

0.25 kg Pumpkin
0.50 cup Red beans
0.50 cup Coconut
0.25 tbsp Cumin seeds
0.25 tbsp Turmeric powder
4.00 no Green chilly
4.00 no Dried red chilly
4.00 no Shallots
0.25 tbsp Mustard
1.00 tbsp Coconut oil
2.00 tbsp Onion
1.00 tbsp Curry leaves

Red beans and pumpkin curry

At the first step wash the red beans using water and then soak this overnight or more than six hours in water .

Then take the pumpkin wash it with water and then pèel off it's skin an then cut it to small small pieces .

Then take a pressure cooker and put the soaked red beans along with some water to it , then put some salt and turmeric powder to it . Keep it on flame

And let it cooked , it will take 2 to 3 visils to done , when it's cooked well put the sliced pumpkin pieces to it and let it cooked again .

Mean while take a blender and put some coconut to it, put some shallots , green chilly and cumin seeds also to it .

Piue some curry leaves also to it and let all the ingredients becomes nicely fried and roasted. When it is done off the flame.

Then pour this fried mix of onion to the pumpkin gravy and off the flame . Mix it well and our dish is ready to serve .
