Raw Mango Dal

  • 2.00 cup Raw Mango Slices
  • 1.00 cup Grated Coconut
  • 3.00 no Green Chilies
  • 2.00 tbsp Oil
  • 0.25 tbsp Mustard Seeds
  • 0.25 tbsp Turmeric Powder
  • 0.50 cup Toor Dhal
  • 0.50 cup Moong Dhaal
  • 0.50 tbsp Salt

Instructions
 

Raw Mango Dal

  • In a pressure cooker add 1/2 a cup of washed toor dal and 1/2 a cup of yellow moong dal,add some water and bring it boil for three whistles,

  • Then wash and slice the mangoes into small pieces and also grate the coconut and chop the green chilies into fine slices,

  • Heat a pan add some oil and add 1/4 tbsp of mustard seeds and add fine chopped green chilies into them and saute well for few seconds,

  • In that same pan add the grated coconut into them and saute for few seconds in medium flame,because there is a chance to over burn the coconut,

  • Then add the well washed Raw mango slices into them mix well till it mixes itself together with the saute coconut mixture,

  • Then add needed salt at this stage and add some turmeric powder again saute well,and close the lid and bring it boil for few minutes in medium flame,do not add any water into them because mangoes are evolves the water content,

  • After few minutes the mangoes gets boiled,at this stage add the boiled toor dal and moong gram mixture into them and again bring it to boil for few minutes,

  • When all the water contents are absorbed completely,this is the time to switch of the flame,add some coriander leaves for garnish and serve hot with plain rice or with roti or chapathi,
