STEP : 1
All the ingredients are taken as mentioned. Chanadal is soaked before in water for 1 hour. This dish uses chanadal and banana as the main ingredient.

Firstly take a pan add water and salt to it. Allow it to boil. Boiled banana tastes more better. Also raw banana may be used.

Now add banana cut into the boiled water as shown. Allow it to cook, till it turns to black in colour.

After it is cooked, allow it to cool, peel the banana as shown. It can be easily removed by the hand.

Now in a hand grinder, make paste of ginger and garlic. Put ginger and garlic into the grinder and add little water, to make it to a smooth paste.

Now transfer the pasted ginger and garlic into another bowl as shown. This improves digestion and maintains the taste of the dish

Now transfer the peeled banana into a fresh bowl. The banana is now crushed to a paste, which is easier for making vada.

Now crush the banana with a crusher as shown. No lumps must be found. After it is crushed, final crushing can be done with hand.

Finally add salt and pepper powder to boost up the taste. Mix it well, till properly combined and to mould easily.

Add chilly grated into the mixture. This makes the dish flavour rich in chilly, which also improves digestion. It can also be grated to bigger pieces.

Now mix all the ingredients added to the dish with a spoon, to a soft dough. Allow it to stand for few minutes.

Now shape the dough into a flat circle with a hole in the center. Do the same for all the dough.

Take a pan with preheated oil in it. Allow it to heat to medium to high. Check the heat before putting vada into it.

Transfer the vada into the frying pan. Fry the vada or snack on all the sides, till it turns to brown in colour.

Test if the vada is cooked properly or not. It may also be deep fried or shallow fried. Turn off the stove.

Transfer the yummy, tastier vada into a bowl as shown. It serves five persons. It is ready to eat. It may be served with any chutney.
