An Aromatic Healthy Breakfast Recipe Of Rava Idli For Family Members
Rava idli is an easy breakfast preparation of south india. This recipe taste is spicy with aromatic. Everyone eaten by this recipe. It’s an instant preparation for school kids.
Ingredients
Rava Idli
- 1.00 cup sooji
- 1.00 cup curd
- 1.00 nos eno pack
- 0.25 tbsp salt
- 2.00 tbsp oil
- 0.50 tbsp mustard seeds
- 5.00 nos curry leaves
- 2.00 nos onion
- 1.00 nos capsicum
- 2.00 nos boiled potato
- 0.25 tbsp turmeric powder
- 0.25 tbsp sambar masala
Instructions
Rava Idli
- Take a cup of curd, a cup of sooji or rava, take one eno pack. Mix sooji, curd, salt as required and water properly. Check the consistency of the batter. The batter should be little thicker.
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add mustard seeds and curry leaves, transfer it to the batter. Also add grated ginger and mix well.
- For stuffing take boiled chopped potatoes, finely chopped capsicum and onion. If you like little spicy then add chopped green chili.
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add 1 teaspoon of mustard seeds, curry leaves and saute it for a minutes. After that add chopped onion and again saute it for 2 minutes.
- Add chopped boiled potatoes, chopped capsicum and saute it. Then add spices as turmeric powder, salt as required and sambar masalas and mix it. Cover it with a lid and reduce the flame for 10 minutes. When the stuffing get completely cooked transfer it to a bowl.
- Add eno to the batter and mix once. Take idle vessel, greased idle molds and pour one spoon of batter to idli moulds. After that add one teaspoon of capsicum potato stuffing and from top add 1 teaspoon of idle batter to each molds.
- Now steamed the idle in a steamer for at least 10 minutes until the stuffed idle are done, turn off the flame. Serve the stuffed idle and garnish with curry leaves.
