This is a Cat Fish (Boal) masala which is a dry preparation. It is served with rice . It is extremely spicy and hot and has a very less cooking time. The fish itself emits oil and is very tasty specially in the winter.

Ingredients of Rava fish fry

0.25 cup Rawa
0.25 tbsp Salt
0.25 tbsp Turmeric
4.00 tbsp Oil
1.00 tbsp CorianderlEaves

Rava fish fry

Wash the cat fish or Boal pieces and then marinate them with salt and turmeric.  Chop the onion and garlic and the green chili.

Drain off the excess oil and keep the fish aside. Also take the rawa so that the fish can be coated with the same.

Again heat oil in a tawa and shallow fry the fish with the rawa layer on both the sides till it is golden.

Add the chili, onion and garlic and then continue to fry well so that they are all fried and become crispier. Now serve with coriander toppings.

Great recipe.. very simple to make only few ingredients used.. I tried this for lunch and served with a bed of rice .. extremely delicious.. Because of using rava the fish was two times crunchier than normal fish fry ..my kids really loved it and they ask me to make it again.. must try item for every fish lovers..
