Finger millet called as ragi can be given as a morning or an evening soup for children as it is rich in Calcium, Carbohydrates and Vitamin D. It is also an excellent source of Iron. Children can be prevented from unhealthy evening cravings as this makes the stomach full.

Ingredients of Ragi koozh

1.00 cup ragi flour
1.50 cup milk
0.50 cup jaggery
0.25 tbsp salt
2.00 tbsp badam and kissmiss
5.00 cup water
