Ragi Halwa – An Awesome Taste And Healthy Dessert Ragi Halwa Recipe
Ragi halwa is very tasty and healthy sweet recipe. This is one of the south indian festival recipe. It is mostly liked by kids. It is easily prepared in the house with simple step.
Ingredients
Ragi Halwa
- 1.00 cup Ragi Flour
- 1.00 cup Jaggery
- 2.00 cup Water
- 2.00 tbsp Sugar
- 5.00 tbsp Ghee
- 2.00 tbsp Kaju
- 2.00 tbsp Badam
- 2.00 nos Dry Coconut Pieces
- 2.00 cup Water
- 4.00 tbsp Elachi Powder
Instructions
Ragi Halwa
- First of all take the kaju and badam and dry coconut and make them as a powder as shown in the image and keep aside.
- Now take the 5 elachies and add little sugar in them and make them as a fine powder and keep aside.
- Now take the pan and switch on the stove and add the 4 tbsp of the ghee in the pan and preheat the pan.
- Now take the one cup of the ragi flour and add the flour in the ghee as shown in the image.
- Now take the spoon and fry the ragi flour as shown in the image until that raw smell gone out and take that in to plate.
- Now take the water and measure the water, for one cup of flour take the 2 cups of the water and add water in the pan.
- Now take the jaggery and chop that jaggery in to the small pieces as shown in the image and keep aside.
- Now take the chopped jaggery from the bowl and add that in the boiled water as shown in the image.
- Now take the spoon and mix that well until that melts in boiled water as shown in the image.
- Now take the sugar and add the two tbsp of the sugar in the water as shown in the image.
- Now take the elachi powder and add the two tbsp of the elachi powder in the syrup and boil them.
- Now take the dry fruit and coconut powder and add the two tbsp of the powder in the syrup and boil well.
- Now keep the high flame and boil the syrup well until the bubbles come out as shown in the image.
- Now take the ragi flour and add slowly in the syrup and then mix thoroughly and keep the flame very slowly.
- Now take the ghee and add the 3 or 4 tbsp of the ghee in the halwa, and mix well.
- Now take the plate and apply the ghee over the plate as shown in the image and spread well.
- Now take the prepared ragi halwa and add that on the plate as shown in the image and spread like a thick halwa.
- Now take the knife and cut them in to pieces and serve the tasty and delicious sweet halwa in the plate and garnish with dry fruit powder.
