STEP : 1
The key ingredients to prepare finger millet flour burfi,we need ragi flour ,all purpose flour,shredded coconut,clarified butter or ghee,normal powdered jaggery,salt a pinch for taste.

Turn on a low flame,put a non stick kadai add a tablespoon of clarified butter or ghee for roasting the flour,let it melts.

Add a cup of ragi flour into a melted ghee for dry roasting,saute the flour till the raw smell goes away.

Add a cup of all purpose flour or maida ,you can also use whole wheat flour or nuts flour along with the millet flour and saute well.

When it cools pour the jaggery syrup along with the roasted flour ,don't forget to filter the jagger syrup so that the impurities can stay back.

Now saute well with slotted spon ,add little by little syrup along with flour,if the mixture is so lump then add a little amount of jaggery syrup .

Now add a cup of shredded or grated coconut intothe mixture and mix it well,you can also add a pinch of cardamom powder for a good aroma

While sauting the mixture ,keep in a low flame otherwise the mixture will be sticky and hard to saute ,you can add a remaining jaggery syrup or ghee and saute it well.

Now add a few tablespoon of ghee little by little and scrape the edges in between ,add a pinch of salt for a taste.

Add a remaining ghee ,stir it till the ghee oozes on top of the mixture and scrape the edges in between.

Now switch off the flame ,scrape the edges on all sides of the tawa and leave the mixture for 5 to 10 minutes let it cool.

Now prepare a large plate or rectangular bowl ,grease the ghee on a plate and let it cool for few minutes and pour the mixture and flatten it very well and leave it around 20 to 25 minutes.

After 20 to 25 minutes ,the mixture is in nice stage for shaping the burfi,now cut the mixture in a desired shape and transfer it in a seperate plate,our ragi burfi is ready to serve now.

In a moderate flame put a long vessel ,when it get slightly hot add a cup of powdered jaggery or powdered sugar,add a jaggery as per your taste and pour a cup of water.

Saute well the mixture and stir the jaggery thoroughly ,when it boils and starts bubbles switch off the flame and let it cool.
