For Masala Preparation

STEP : 1
Initially soak one cup of green peas for 7 to 8 hours,if possible add white peas for preparing ragda patties.

STEP : 2
Turn on the flame ,add a cup of soaked green peas with 2 cups of water and leave it for 4 to 5 whistles.

STEP : 3
Again add medium size potatoes in a pressure cooker and leave it 2 to 3 whistles.

To make tomato puree add two medium size tomatoes in a blender jar and blend it.

Blend it for few seconds till it turns thick puree,before adding tomatoes peel the skin if possible.

After 4 to 5 whistles ,when the pressure calms down completely open the lid slowly and seperate in a bowl.

After 2 to 3 whistles ,when the pressure calms down completely open the lid and let it cool down.

Turn on the flame ,add two tablespoon of oil and let it heat for few seconds.

Add two nos of lavang and cloves in a hot oil and let it splutter for few seconds.

Add a cup of three medium size onions and saute it till it turns golden brown color.

Add blended tomato purees into the mixture and mix it ,cook it till the raw tomato smell goes away.

When its half cooked,add half tablespoon of turmeric powder and mix it then saute it.

Add a tablespoon of garam masala or dhania powder into the mixture for more spiciness.

Add a tablespoon of red chilli powder then mix it and cook it for few seconds.

Add boiled green peas into the masala and mix it well let the curry blend with green peas.

Mash the peas lightly before adding into the mixture,gradually add a cup of water to avoid thickening.

sprinkle few fresh coriander leaves into the boiling mixture and let it cook for few minutes.

Add little bit salt for taste,add less salt because we need to add salt for potato mixture.
For Potato Patties Preparation

STEP : 1
After draining the water,Take a seperate bowl peel the potato skin completely and mash it.

STEP : 2
Mash it nicely with out any lumps ,sprinkle little bit chaat masala for more taste.

Add few fresh coriander leaves and mix it very well,add a tablespoon of coriander powder to the ragda or curry.

Add half tablespoon of turmeric powder and mix it ,you can sprinkle even red chilli powder.

Add green chilli and ginger paste into the mixture and mix it ,you can add even ginger garlic paste.

Add two tablespoon of corn flour or corn starch into the mixture and mix it .

Add one tablespoon of salt starch into the mixture and mix it.

Grease your palm with oil and make a flattened roll and seperate it in a plate.

Place a tawa on a low flame,drizzle on all sides of the pan and let it heat.

Place one by one pattice in a hot oil and let it fry for few seconds.

After few seconds just flip it on other sides ,and cook it for few minutes.

when its cooked ,arranging the pattice one by one in a serving plate for garnishing purpose.

Apply hot ragda on top of the patties on all sides of the pattice for spiciness.Our yummy ragda patties is ready now.
