STEP : 1
Peel the skin of sojna data or drumsticks and pumpkin. Then cut them into pieces and wash them with warm water. Take crispy homemade bori (Bengali sun dried dumplings).
STEP : 2
Heat oil in a non-stick pan and shallow fry the bori until its colour turn light brown. You can also dry roast the bori before adding.

Remove the fried bori on a separate plate. Now on same non-stick pan add little more oil, heat it and add panch phoron masala and whole red chili, sauté it for few second.

Now add chopped sojna data or drumsticks and saute it for few second on a low flame, then add pumpkin and mix well.
STEP : 5
After that add half teaspoon turmeric powder, salt as required and a pinch of sugar and mix it properly. Then add one teaspoon grated ginger.
STEP : 6
Add the fried bori (Bengali sun dried dumplings) and mix well. Reduce the flame and cover it with a lid at least for 15 minutes.
STEP : 7
Remove the lid and stir it. Add one teaspoon of ghee and again mix it. Turn off the flame and cover it with a plate.
STEP : 8
Transfer it to a serving bowl and garnish with green chili. Enjoy this traditional chorchori with steamed rice and dal.
