Ingredients of Potoler dolma
STEP : 1
Take big sized pointed gourds and wash them very well. Peel them and have theme clean and with a sharp edged spoon scoop out all matter from inside of the pointed gourd.

Take the prawn wash it and clean it and divide all of them and then add salt and turmeric to marinate the same.

Heat oil in a kadai and fry the prawns very well so that they turn golden brown in color on all sides.

Add the coconut paste and the mustard paste and mix it very well with the prawn. Also add the green chili.

Cook the gravy for sometime with the prawn and the masala till almost all the masala is dried up and the prawn is ready.

After the prawn is dried up and is ready then put it in a bowl and let it cool before putting the same in a grinder.

After grinding the same in a mixture grinder a fine paste is formed from the prawns and keep it in a bowl.

Take a spoon full of the filling and stuff it in the scooped pointed gourd. Do not stuff it very tight then it may break.

Repeat the same process for all the pointed gourds that were scooped so that they are all stuffed with the prawn paste.

Now make a paste of besan and add it to the opening side of the pointed gourd as if to seal it so that while frying no stuffing comes out.

Add oil in a frying pan and then add the stuffed pointed gourd into the oil so that they can be fried.

First fry one side so that it turns golden brown and then fry on the other side so that both sides are uniformly cooked and the dish is ready to be served.
