Simple and easy to cook biriyani using mint leaves and potato. With the flavor of mint and the richness of potatoes the biriyani will really taste good. To make the biriyani tastier, biriyani masala is also added with bay leaf, cardamom and cloves which will give a refreshing aroma to the rice.

Ingredients of potato biryani

2.00 cup Rice
1.00 no Potatoes
3.00 no Tomatoes
2.00 no Onions
1.00 cup Mint leaves
1.00 no Cardamom
3.00 no clove
2.00 no Bay leaves
1.00 tbsp Chilly powder
1.00 tbsp Salt
1.00 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
1.00 tbsp Shahi biryani masala

Potato biryani

Finely slice two onions, chop the tomatoes, finely chop the mint leaves and slit the green chilies and keep it aside.

To the rice cooker container add the cup of rice and two cups of water and put the cooked mixture in the wok to the container and mix well. Switch on the rice cooker and leave it till the power button automatically gets to the warm button and serve the hot hot biryani and garnish with onion rings.
