  • 1.50 cup sugar
  • 1.50 cup paithamparupu
  • 1.00 nos cardamom
  • 0.25 cup ghee
  • 10.00 nos cashew nuts

  • Take one tumbler of paitham parupu. Fry that in a pan without oil. Add one cardamom for the pleasant smell and taste.

  • Fry this till the golden color. Make sure the flame should be in sim only. Kepp the fried dal aside. Allow it to cool.

  • Place the same pan as we used before for fry the dal. Add the ghee into it. Allow it to heat.

  • In another side, take the required amount of cashews. Break the cashew as a small piece as shown in the figure. Keep it aside.

  • Now add the broken cashew into the heated ghee. Fry the cashew in golden brown colour and Keep it aside.

  • Now the dal will be cooled. Add the equal amount of sugar and grind the dal and sugar together till it becomes nice powder.

  • After that, add the cashew (as we fried and keep it aside before) to the powdered dal and sugar.

  • Mix it well with ghee. Once the round shape comes without fail (as shown in the figure) that is the best position for the dish. Till that add a little amount of ghee to the powdered dal and sugar.
