Paruppu Urundai Preparation

STEP : 1
Soak the half a cup of chana dal with 2 cups of water for 1 hours.

Now you need to Strain the water and put in the mixture grinder and put fennel seeds .

Now you need to take 4 to 5 green chilly and put it into the mixture grinder.

Now you need to take 7-8 small size closer garlic and put it into the mixture grinder.

Now you need to take half tsp of Sea Salt and put it into the mixture grinder.

Now close the mixture grinder and grind the lentils to a coarse paste. Do not add water while grinding.

Now take the grinded chana dal and put it into the bowl, keep it aside.
Masala Prepation

STEP : 1
Take the Ingredients onion,medium size tomato,green chilly, small closer garlic for making Paruppu Urundai Kuzhambu.

Now Soak the tamarind in 1 cups of warm water for 10 to 15 minutes.

Now you need to take 2 medium size tomato and smash it.Tomato should me like this.

Now you need to take Soak tamarind and Extract its juice and discard the pulp.

Now you need to mix the smash Tomato and tamarind juice together.It should be like this.

Now you need to add Sea Salt how much you needed for making Paruppu Urundai Kuzhambu.

Now you need to take half tsp Turmeric power and add it into the bowl.

Now you need to take 2 tsp chilli powder and add it into the bowl.

Now you need to take 1 tsp of coriander powder and put it into the bowl.

Now you need to mix it every thing for 1 to 2 mins for making Kuzhambu.

Now you need to add the water and mix it well and keep it aside.

Heat oil in a flat pan and than put 2 tsp of oil keep it in low flame.

Now you need to add mustard seed and fennel seeds wait for 1 sec.keep it in low flame.

Than put finely chopped Onion wait for 1 mins and keep it in high flame .

Than put curry leaves and mix it well wait for 1 sec and keep it in high flame .

Now you need to pour that mixed water in the flat pan. keep it in high flame.

Now you need to mix it everything well wait for 1 min. keep it in high flame.

Now close the pan wait for 10 to 15 mins keep it in high flame.

Once the Paruppu Urundai Kuzhambu curry comes to a full boil, add the dumplings one by one carefully.

DO not stir for the first 5 minutes as the dumplings might break. Let the flame be at medium when the dumplings are boiling.

After 5 minutes, turn the dumplings if necessary.Let it simmer for 10 to 12 more minutes.

At last put coriander leaves into the Paruppu Urundai Kuzhambu and remove off heat .

Now the Paruppu Urundai Kuzhambu is ready. you can Serve the hot Paruppu Urundai Kuzhambu with rice or dosa.
